Christian’s knowledge within the industry ranges from small family business to a PLC, from a high class Michelin restaurant to a modern brasserie, from establishing a concept restaurant to brand development.

Christian’s career as a chef started at the tender age of 14 when he set off on a three-year apprenticeship in a restaurant in Cahors, then in 1975 Christian came to London to work at Le Gavroche restaurant under Michel and Albert Roux.

In 1993 he joined a team to create Bank Restaurants as food director to develop and open the first Bank Restaurant Aldwych in 1996.
Following the opening of 2 more restaurants, Christian became the Managing Director of Bank Restaurant Group Plc, which he ran successfully until late 2006.

Over the past 30 years Christian has enjoyed passing on this knowledge to those who have worked with him.
